Not true. There is plenty to do, if you decide to keep your family away from ultra processed food (make all meals from scratch) support you kids properly with all school work, and be a present parent in their activities and hobbies, keep a maintained, clean and beautiful house and garden, and take care of yourself and the marriage - be there for extended family like parents who need help getting to appointment - trust me there is a lot to do. It just doesn’t even make it to the list when both parents have full time jobs.

Yes lots of workers choose to live like this. Not because they can’t afford anything better. But because they want to send as much money home as possible rather than waste money on fancy studio apartments. 500 aed = 136 usd monthly, for a place to sleep fairly central, with shared kitchen/bath and AC included. Take it or leave it, nobody is forced to live there

Being profitable from day one is not always an option. I have turned every rock in my marketplace and industry, gotten outside help, and it’s just not an option to be profitable from day 1. Dealing with losses in the beginning while letting customer lifetime value compound, is the reality for many of us. It means scaling slowly not to lose too much. But getting there in the end after taking a hit at the start.

From a small brand, finally earning profit after months of losses ✌🏼

Saying “stop ivf” to prevent donor egg babies (which is what the rant is about, specifically) is like saying “stop having sex/make kids in general, because some babies are adopted away”.

Banning ivf to stop people from having donor egg ivf babies , would also stop a lot of people from having kids that are 100% “theirs”.

Maybe you are okay with that but that’s not the point of the post and hence not relevant.

You don’t ban something that creates 100 babies because you disagree with how 1 of those babies are made. You ask to ban eggs from being donated if that’s what your problem is.

Hey from dubai. I’m a female, have worked corporate here for years, it’s not an issue at all being a woman in the workforce in Dubai. That’s a bad excuse for not being able to land a job. The market is tough. That’s just how it is in Dubai, too many people fighting for the same jobs. It’s not a gender issue.

Crazy to maximize each tampon. If you want a smelly bacterial vagina, follow this guy’s advice. To all guys out there: this is not how it works. A single tampon should not stay much longer than 4 hours. Sometimes that means it will be slightly soaked. Sometimes it will be so soaked after 2 hours that you need to swap it. Some women have periods for 2 days, others for 7 days.

Now try re doing your calculation for a woman with a 7 day period changing tampon every 4 hours. Bye.
