LIIF recently joined @BuildUpCA, Assemblymember @AsmGailPellerin & others to see a newly built child care center at Tamien Station in San Jose. This transit-oriented development partnered with @SJBChildDevCtr to address both child care & housing shortages.

Removing barriers to constructing co-located #childcare centers will help communities address supply shortages of both #housing and child care while centering the needs of #children and #families.

In our session, "Building Relationships & Building Child Care," we walked through the village of people involved in building the supply of child care.

Yesterday we joined hundreds of @seiucalifornia and Child Care Providers United members to rally in support of a #faircontract for family child care providers!!

High quality ECE requires BOTH well supported human infrastructure AND safe and beautiful physical infrastructure!
