That’s why looking for the “next shale” misses the point… The real question is what next technology gets that same chance to run the learning curve that the shale revolution did?

The 3% isn’t because energy collapsed, it’s because it never saw multiple expansion.

Cash flows surged, balance sheets healed, capital was returned… but P/Es stayed anchored while other sectors levitated.

You really think that 40-50x multiples are coming for Energy companies upon a supply constraint? I doubt it.
