@spacewxwatch When I was back visiting family for a month earlier this summer. On an island, in the middle of the northern end of lake Michigan, darkest skies humanly possible. There was zero activity the whole time. I can go back if you really need a break. 😂

@spacewxwatch I've never had that happen. (knock on wood). But about two months ago my debit card was declined despite knowing I had funds. Called the bank, "we can't tell you over the phone, you'll have to visit a branch". Did so, found out account closed because I was dead. I was not dead.

@BenNollWeather I'm incredibly confused every year. When we have a la Nina, they say we get below average snow here in Michigan. Then when we have an El Nino, they say exactly the same thing. Last two winters we've gotten F all. Historically we've gotten a lot here. What gives?

@Mntry16 Even here where we get negative temps, 40+mph wind in winter. Can always put on more layers and be warm. When it's hot/humid you're just out of luck. Can only get so nekkid. Lol. Plus it's way easier to heat a house than cool it. Also blankets. No anti-blankets for hot weather.

@Mntry16 See, I work outside a lot, and even when I don't I'm walking the dog 5+ times a day. 100 percent prefer winter. When it's cold, even extremely cold. Can always put on a hoodie, coat, both, full body carhart with multiple layers underneath. Winter hat, big balaclava thing.

@Brain74 @nilwxreports Absolutely this. "Oh gee, can it be sweltering under the hateful sun all day, and then cool off slightly at night, but be so humid I could just swim up? Also, let's get so many bugs and plants totally out of control that it looks/sounds/smells/feels like the Amazon rainforest."

@ReedTimmerUSA It's been far too hot back here in Michigan. I'm about an hour from GR and it's been in the 90s for a week straight, some nights staying above 80. Capped to the point it won't even think about raining. Humidity through the roof. Pls Send help in form of cold front/low pressure.🥵
