Conservation works are progressing at pace at The Prince of Wales in Southport. Team Bullen are carrying out substantial external facade repair works, including masonry, stone and timber repairs, repointing, replacement of defected timber fascias and Doff cleaning.

Stalybridge War Memorial has been restored to its former glory in time for the weekend’s celebrations.

In preparation for the Coronation of King Charles, Bullen Conservation has been appointed to restore Stalybridge War Memorial to its former glory. Works include Doff cleaning , patch pointing and masonry repairs. Proud to be playing our part #warmemorials#kingscoronation
Team Bullen are enjoying the Spring sunshine as they restore Brookside Farm in the idyllic town of Mobberley. We have been instructed to strip the paint and repoint the walls in heritage lime mortar, as well as rebuild the chimney.

We were appointed to restore the stocks at Grade II listed Woodplumpton Church. The left hand side post was cracked and so we extracted, carved a new base and spliced it to the old top. The timber stock was rotten and so we incorporated a new piece of oak, supplied by the parish.
It’s National Apprentice Week – a celebration of what apprentices bring to organisations like ours. By hiring apprentices we've been able to develop a sustainable talent pipeline whilst simultaneously allowing individuals to expand their knowledge and hone their talent. Win/win!
Team Bullen commenced work on Grade I listed Harris Building this week. Appointed by main Contractor Conlon Construction, Bullen Conservation will be undertaking external restoration works, inc cleaning, pointing and masonry repairs, which form part of a £14m renovation project.
Fantastic to see the team involved in the conservation project at Astley Hall recognised for their incredible work. The workers that helped restore the beautiful building to its former glory have had their names etched on a glass plaque that will sit on the side of the building.
