@ric_cole @armyjobs I can't find the original - maybe is been taken down - but this is in the same bucket as "Future Solider".
Great at attention to detail when it comes to uniform. Terrible when it comes to external publishing / marketing.
"The Royal Navy, plainly a bunch of woke progressives, has long embraced (full) beards."
@TheEconomist makes the case pretty clearly.
The British army mulls allowing beards https://t.co/054tW516j8
@MilitaryBanter I'm not so sure why the regiment thinks it needs so many accounts. They're not that important. Maybe just have one and look after it properly...
@WHearnshaw@wavellroom That this is still even being debated shows how archaic military thinking is.
Keep the Padres for those people that still believe in children's fairy tales, ghosts, and goblins, but get professionals in for people that need professional help.
@nicholadrummond@ArmyCGS "It has become blindingly obvious that @ArmyCGS General Sir Patrick Sanders is the most capable and nicest Army Chief we have had in a very, very long time."
To be fair Carter set the benchmark pretty low...
@PhilipIngMBE@Army_Leadership@Army_Leadership has 0 leadership credibility after pushing the book Habit of Excellence in the same year that senior officers went to prison for CEA fraud, the SEAC slept with a soldier's wife, Carter talked of "country boys" etc.
They are relevant only to themselves.
@ArmySgtMajor@RymerAbbie Great stuff, and I applaud your willingness to get involved. The situation sounds ridiculous.
I assume, however, that you now provide this service for everyone in the Army with complaints about their mess staff? Or do they have to post about it on Twitter?
Genuine question.
@StClabbert @RoryStewartUK Sorry, I'm struggling to draw the connection between his ability to comment on the challenges that he and other MPs faced when he was an MP (in the past, hence "found", not "find"), and your comment that last time you checked he wasn't an MP. You're now making a different point.
