bumping this today. If someone here with a sports audience can't think of anything they can do, simple action is stop posting on this platform. If it leads to one fewer user bombarded by misinformation and propaganda (there's no quarantine for sports-only posts), that's a small W
My wish for this season is that professionals covering the Bulls stop using Twitter, at least exclusively
Would be great if official and unofficial PR would post vids elsewhere for #sharing, but I'm not holding my breath
"Bulls Twitter" can remain here, they offer no value

@klahoops I'd just hate to see the Bulls, perpetually gun-shy in seeking stars, continue to be that way because of a bad experience with Nikola Vucevic.
(it'll be because star players cost money, and Vuc was targeted not because he was that good, but on a value contract)
@klahoops this is a stretch to categorize AD alongside Vuc, who was never very good and thus why even staying healthy was unable to 'accelerate' anything. The trade process could work if they actually got a star player, who would've helped the team AND lower value of outgoing assets.
@Doug_Thonus@Drew_H_Stevens that's not a factual difference, but a subjective one. Why you are aligning with the Bulls over 'spazzes' in this case is odd, but you are being consistent at least.

@brucetanning@Doug_Thonus@klahoops OK, in fairness to me they never announce anything and are always behind on that page. And even so, doesn't refute they were down to one person late last season.
and maybe research that the Bulls have been understaffed, and hiring/promoting under qualified people, for 40 years
@Doug_Thonus If looking at how the Bulls run things I don't know how you couldn't 'hate' it, I think you're trying to project 'reason' but instead it's naive.
I agree that Peter Patton was probably underqualified and bad at his job! But not because he was fired, but because he was hired!
@Doug_Thonus it's based on general hatred of the team's staffing practices across basketball operations, for decades. Why would you look at this one position, which you admit you know little about, and reason the Bulls, who are a terribly-run organization, are correct to not backfill it?
@Doug_Thonus@klahoops strange that you get ROFL not out of calling the Bulls cheap, but calling out fans calling the Bulls cheap. You didn't think selling the 2nd round pick was worth getting worked up over either.
they are a terribly run organization, and as not a glamor destination that matters
@Doug_Thonus@klahoops you should have stopped typing after the first phrase. You know the Bulls hire low-qualified people at every level, so they certainly don't deserve a 'less is more' benefit of the doubt
definite shortage in their analytics department https://t.co/m8LKcZ5b9V
@Doug_Thonus@KCJHoop@JCowleyHoops KC said on the radio today that while he had no exact figure he doesn't think Bulls are at $25M, definitely not $30M
and CowIey was saying all last month it was already in the bag for $30M, because he doesn't know anything and is too stupid to learn anything
(glad I could help)
