😲 🚨 @Tesla_Optimus 🤩🤩
Calcanis: 'I just saw a recent Optimus demo. Blows anything away shown at the World Games in China.
I can tell you this will be the greatest product ever built by humanity'
@muskonomy Dear Elon, talked such a a huge game on solar for 2 decades just about... Get those turbines out of there and start buying land for mass solar.
I am thankful to have been given a Cybercab Launch event invite.. but not for the reason most people really want one of these invites.
There is a much deeper reason.
Admittedly, I hope to see some Cybercabs and maybe even bump into a few of you reading this post ..
Maybe I will get to see Elon talking to the group or hopefully bump into Ashok @aelluswamy ...
But that is not why I'm going.
I am going to the Cybercab event in Austin because these events are the only REAL connection I have to the actual engineers doing the work to make self driving a reality.
I am going to see the engineers I have met before and those that I hope to meet that might be new on the team since I last visited in Burbank.
If you are working on the @Tesla_AI team and you will be at the event, can I please ask, that if you have time, I would like to meet you, know your name and shake your hand.
No cameras, no questions, just a face to face with the most important team members at this event.
I promise to stop any conversation and give you the time you deserve. Come find me if I don't find you first!
You are the best engineers on the planet solving this self-driving and humanoid robot problem and I want to know you.
🇺🇸 It took a WSJ reviewer a year to try the new Model Y and just two hours to fold.
He let Full Self-Driving take over on Version 14, the AI trained on Tesla’s massive amount of real-world driving footage.
First half hour he's hovering over the brake, waiting for it to slip. It never did.
Rush-hour interstate, four-way stops, merging traffic, even an accident it had to reroute around. FSD handled all of it without breaking a sweat.
In his own words, he considers himself an excellent driver, but going up against FSD felt like Kasparov vs. Deep Blue.
He got in ready to prove he was the better driver and got out sold on the car.

Mona, a member of the Federation of the Blind, gave amazing testimony yesterday about @Tesla’s Cybercab after sitting in it this week:
"To have something like the Cybercab would be very beneficial to us as the blind community; It’s got Braille in there. Nobody else has Braille. This would be so beneficial. The app is wonderful. There’s space to put the wheelchair. They can just push themselves right in. A lot of times, the Uber and Lyft if they see you with a dog or cane, they drive right past you. With Cybercab, it doesn't know that you're blind. It doesn't know that you're in a wheelchair. It just knows that you need a ride, so I completely love the car. Just sitting in it, how comfortable it is, just knowing something is accessible - it’s the most amazing thing out there."

Robotaxi is going to save a lot of lives. It's going to save a lot of money, and avoid a lot of waste. It's going to make the air noticeably cleaner. And it's going to improve freedom of movement for millions of people.
@Mike__Baier@mrwhiskeers@Mike__Baier Elon says it takes about the generations of a product for wide scale, is P5 ready for manufacturing wide? If so, are you guys looking for a place to lay down Boring Gigafactory for mass scale?
