@ArabellaSock @simonsuter the canes would lean all over the place if single with the weight of the toms! Just a few horizontal canes to join them together and a diagonal to secure them 🤞

@ArabellaSock @simonsuter I’ve also got Consuelo… on your recommendation so no pressure🤣 I grew them from seed which took a long time to order and come, then germinate etc…. but they’ve got tiny fruits now👍

@ArabellaSock @simonsuter that will test all my Crimson Crush! … think I heard Monty say on a podcast to remove all the leaves from toms if affected, the fruits will still ripen without leaves… we will see🤔

@simonsuter nothing on the rose, hawthorn or cotoneaster… think I originally planted my mini woodland far too densely, nature is thinning it out for me! In autumn it’s all awash with fungi, on all the log edging etc!

@simonsuter in the past few years I’ve lost birch, roses, apple, plum, hawthorn and several cotoneaster cornubia… I thought it was lack of water and being overcrowded but now suspect honey fungus🤔…as you say - new opportunities!
