@zackbshapiro Why does everyone (all the legal influencer folks) have the same take? It’s like this weird “fear”
Based take where they want companies building in the space to worry and stop what they’re doing? Does everyone believe it’s a one company wins it all? Is this what rage baiting is?
Last year, Claude was in the assist phase.
In 2025, Claude will do hours of expert-level work independently and collaborate alongside you.
By 2027, we expect Claude to find breakthrough solutions to problems that would've taken teams years to solve.
Introducing Claude 3.7 Sonnet: our most intelligent model to date. It's a hybrid reasoning model, producing near-instant responses or extended, step-by-step thinking.
One model, two ways to think.
We’re also releasing an agentic coding tool: Claude Code.
@aakashgupta If you’re using Claude, anthropic actually mentions you get 30% odd better responses by having the “text dump” or documents at the TOP of the file, questions at the bottom, xml tags are key.

o3-mini is out to all Cursor users!
We're launching it for free for the time being, to let people get a feel for the model.
The Cursor devs still prefer Sonnet for most tasks, which surprised us.
@jessepollak@AskVenice@ErikVoorhees No it’s simply not required. Jesse please take some time to apply the lens of skepticism when it comes to these sort of things, surely you have AI experts within your circle who can give you unbiased advice and can explain why this is just an api proxy.
@ErikVoorhees It’s simple for anyone to just spin it up on their own hardware (and you don’t need anything better than a 2021 GPU), save your money. This is true decentralization.
True open-source allows us to study and modify artifacts. We can study the DeepSeek papers (which are nicely written, but still omit details), and we can fine-tune their models. but one cannot understand or modify them at a deep level.
@dabit3@Apple@OpenAI@awscloud@amazon@twilio@lululemon@Tesla Agreed - the real issue is that “what is good” is denoted by the bag holders of the projects in question, regardless of quality. IMO, The next healthy step is to promote the idea of “the blockchain is just a database, get over it” and focus on value apps, not tokens.
