Update: Bunker Mode now scans 7 networks.
Your vault may never have signed on Ethereum. One swap on Base still exposes it. Same key, every EVM chain.
Ethereum · Base · Arbitrum · Optimism · Polygon · BNB · Solana

Update: Bunker Mode now scans Safes.
A multisig has no key of its own. It is exactly as exposed as its signers.
Every Safe execution carries the owners’ signatures in its calldata. A signer that never sent a transaction can still have a public key.
Paste a Safe: every signer, exposed vs. the threshold.

Update: Bunker Mode now scans Bitcoin.
Taproot addresses carry their public key in plain sight. Any address that has spent revealed its key, and coins left on it sit behind it.
The largest known exchange cold wallet on Bitcoin: ~$20B, spent 451 times.
Paste any BTC address:

We checked the biggest exchange wallets on Ethereum.
$24.9B sits behind keys that have already revealed their public key. The largest single wallet: $18.4B, exposed since 2018.
Exposed isn't hacked. It's first in line.

Bunker Mode, phase 2 soon 👀
1. Exposure Index: how much value sits behind already-exposed keys, from whales to exchange cold wallets.
2. Bunker Watch: an alert the second your vault signs, on any chain.
3. Bunker Move: migrate to a fresh key in one flow. You sign every step.

Small update: Bunker Mode now checks 20 EVM chains + Solana.
Same key, every chain. A swap on Scroll or a mint on Zora exposes your vault just like one on mainnet.
Avalanche, Linea, zkSync, Unichain, Blast, Ink, Mantle, Sonic, Berachain and more.

A project built with bunker mode in mind since day 1? It's literally our name.
Bunker Mode: paste any ETH address, see if its public key is already exposed, get a calm plan to move. Hash-based authorization is what we research next.
And agreed: don't panic-move. Know first.

would be cool if there were a project designed with "bunker mode" in mind since day 1 with the best cryptographers, quantum plan, and privacy in the industry
zcash was quite literally created for this
and btw, no, do not move your funds no matter what chain youre on
One signature is all it takes.
Before your first transaction, your public key hides behind a hash. After it, anyone can recover it from the chain.
That’s fine today. It’s worth knowing anyway.
Sealed or exposed? https://t.co/g25x8CG0Dx
Your everyday wallet signs often.
Your bunker shouldn’t.
Every signature reveals your public key. Receiving doesn’t.
Keep long-term holdings on a key that never signs.

@drakefjustin called for calm "bunker mode" planning.
Step one: know which keys are already exposed.
We built that for every @ethereum address

Calmly begin planning for "bunker mode." @ethereum
Step one: know which of your addresses already revealed their public key.
Bunker Mode scans any ETH address. Sealed or exposed, plus a plan to move.
No wallet connection

Your wallet has a cryptographic shelf life. Here's what that means, and what BUNKER does about it.
How an Ethereum address works:
Private key → public key → hash → address.
Your address is just a hash of your public key. As long as you never sign anything, the public key stays hidden behind that hash.
The moment you sign:
Every transaction carries a signature (r, s, v). From that signature, anyone can recalculate your full public key. Not your private key. Your public key. It's how the network verifies you. And it's permanent: once on-chain, it's out there.
Why that's fine today:
Getting a private key from a public key isn't practical with any known method. ECDSA holds. Nobody is draining wallets this way.
Why it might matter later:
If that ever changes, through a large enough quantum computer or an unexpected math breakthrough, keys that already revealed their public key are the first ones in reach. Keys that never signed still sit behind a hash. Nobody knows when or if this happens. That's exactly why it's worth knowing where you stand.
What BUNKER does:
Paste any Ethereum address (no wallet connection):
• SEALED or EXPOSED: has this key ever signed on-chain?
• When it was first exposed, and how often it has signed
• The recovered public key, verified against the address
• A Bunker Score: a transparent hygiene indicator, not a hack prediction
• A Bunker Plan: how to move long-term holdings behind a fresh key
The simple rule:
Your everyday wallet signs often. Your bunker shouldn't.
Trade from one. Store in another that never signs. Sweep profits over.
What's next:
Key rotation and smart accounts with hash-based authorization, an extra layer that doesn't rely on elliptic curves alone. That's research and labeled as research. Nothing experimental guards real funds without review.
Use. Rotate. Seal.
