The British media must be fuming. INEOS feed them with scraps now.
Nobody knows who Manchester United are signing anymore.
Santos out of the blue.
Tielemens out of the blue.
How a PROPER football club operates.
Manchester United’s reported £35 million signing of Youri Tielemans is exactly the kind of business the club should be doing. At 29, Tielemans is a proven Premier League midfielder with the passing range, intelligence, versatility, and work rate to elevate any side. For that price, he is an outright bargain.
Just as important is the way the deal has been handled. By keeping negotiations out of the spotlight, United have avoided the leaks, inflated fees, and needless drama that have plagued previous transfer windows. The agreement appears to have been completed efficiently and on the club’s terms, a clear sign of a more disciplined and competent approach.
The Criticism of Tielemans’ age misses the point entirely. Elite experience has real value, and securing a player of his quality for £35 million, while also adding André Santos for a combined outlay of around £85 million, is outstanding business.
Rather than being held hostage by agents or paying whatever the market demands, United are finally showing the resolve to walk away from overpriced deals and target genuine value.
This is the Manchester United fans have been waiting to see: decisive, strategic, and unafraid to back its own judgment. If this is the standard going forward, there is every reason to be excited for the season ahead.#mufc
@giddy_fx@Olalekan_000 Carrick hasn’t done anything to your club. Ineos/Glazers did this to your club. Stop being delusional. Ineos appointed and sacked Amorim. Carrick didn’t hire or sack anyone. Think.
@giddy_fx They never chose mediocrity. You can’t choose something that’s not yours to choose. If Amorim was still here then we’d deal with and maybe we’d see the fruitage of what he was trying to build. Think about it for once. We deal with what we get. There’s nothing that can be done.
@Driplikewealth Now you come up against Mexico then what? Have you seen how they play? This isn’t about kobbie Mainoo but you can see his value and how well he plays with the ball but this is much more than Mainoo. The English were so poor in all their games after dispatching Croatia.
@Driplikewealth Were we both watching the Congo, Ghana and Panama game? England were playing a side to side game with penetration. Congo was basically defending the middle and keeping it on lock. Until the last minute, Kane came through but throughout the game….the performance was mid af.
@CryptoVarane All this complaining does nothing. Ineos inherited a mess. You think we are Spurs? Spurs haven’t spent money in a few transfer windows. They have a setup nobody knew about except for Ratcliffe. That’s why he wants to build a new state of the art stadium and mirrow Spurs.
@AddictionFree28@CFC_OBED Don’t get me wrong De Zerbi is a good manager but does he have the pedigree to fight for titles? Marseille didn’t work out. Brighton? Like where are the titles to back that. At least Glasner and Amorim have CVs to back it but does he? Nah. Once he lifts a trophy, we’ll see.
@AddictionFree28@007DuN1@CFC_OBED Tonali didn’t turn down City or United. They were interested but never started formal talks. Newcastle put a price on him and you lot were more than willing to pay for it. If I’m choosing project over money then I’m dumb. Most jobs are about competitive pay. Not the project.
