@HackForumsNet@basilthegreat Well actually, foreign companies must follow US laws if they want access to US customers. Drug companies must allow US inspectors to verify they are following US laws or they can’t sell their products in the US.
Car manufacturers must follow US design laws.
The list goes on!
@VigilantFox The cost is exaggerated. That number includes personnel that would have to be paid even if they sat on base playing cards instead of driving a tank.
@Ryan_Turner_01 The Ohmmu web site has a video about replacing the 12v which is the same process for Ohmmu or a standard 12v. Strongly recommend you watch it before deciding to do it yourself.
@CarsonGallo The Ohmmu battery 🪫 does NOT play nice with Tesla software updates; repeatedly thinks battery is bad and doesn’t allow further updates unless you disconnect and reconnect it (lots of work). I finally gave up and swapped back to standard 12v, $400 wasted.
@GuyDealership Longo includes a Lexus dealership next door. Many years ago I saw a Lexus mechanic come to the Toyota side with an empty Lexus box, request a part, take it out of the Toyota box, put it in the Lexus box and return to the Lexus side!
@cybrtrkguy My Tesla MX was rear ended resulting in minor damage to the bumper and a small dent in the lift gate. The Tesla approved repair shop had the car for three months, mostly waiting for parts. That shop also had about 15 other Teslas also waiting parts.
