@henrytdowling@felixrieseberg I’ve told a few people… I believe managing multiple Claude sessions utilizes more of my brain. Yes, it can be dizzying but when I am able to concentrate for long stretches, Claude and I can get a LOT done!
It was a rude comment.
Notice that he said his “CTO” so they likely were building software already. He also didn’t mention the scope of the product so I might be a very narrow scope and relatively easy to fix and not a huge burden on them to host, maintain, and evolve. THESE situations will be very common… when the ROI of DIY is better than commercial and the capabilities are in-house.
@vasuman@vasuman Great stack! One addition for July 2025 could be Playwright for testing—perfect for end-to-end testing with React in Lovable and Supabase, especially with its parallel execution and Supabase session handling (e.g., GitHub remix-supabase-playwright boilerplate).
From Dallas and have been in SA, Cape Town and Joburg for the last 2 weeks. Of course there are areas where this is true but it is a gross generalization. I’ve spoken with many locals and they want better for their country. Not sure the ANC is the answer. They could definitely use a dose of DOGE. They would welcome @elonmusk’s help.
Brilliant! Why didn’t I think of that!?!?
I like how you consider all sides of the decision.
Seems like something Amazon or one of the hyperscalers should own. And I wonder if @openrouter will start to get wholesale discounts from the models to offset its premium. (And @openrouter - @ldangelo would be a great person to engage as an expert and influencer!)
@ldangelo Great post @ldangelo. I hope we get some ideas/input on better ways to do this. It would seem that a manual tag on commit might be easily gamed to meet the 50% requirement.
@ldangelo I've been following along, mostly over @ldangelo's shoulder, and agree. We're seeing the acceleration of innovation at a pace none of us could have imagined a year ago. Truly exciting times.
Been doing a lot with AI (claude code) and MCP. I'm consistently amazed by what it can do. One observation I've recently had. AI requires excellent debugging and code comprehension skills. If you are laking here take the time to improve your skills. It will pay off!
Chase fees in Canada are enormous compared to Canadian banks! I don’t know if this is the result of Canadian regulations or just higher costs by Chase in Canada but we quickly moved to a Canadian bank for lower fees. Worth looking into to see if there really is a level playing field.
@DFWscanner Several snapped utility poles and power out with no end in sight. 3rd time in 4-6 months. Every storm, they snap and endanger these houses in our neighborhood. Oncor techs are great! Not their fault. But they keep putting bandaids on the problem @PUCTX@oncor
What if you could fill your technology leadership slot (CIO, CTO, or CISO) immediately, in a matter of hours?
This is LaaS, and it's helping businesses break away from tradition.
