@joshi_messi@FreddyLA7@LALACMSEA $14 is for the tube rental and bus ride so you don't have to walk back.
You're welcome to bring your own tube and walk back for free.
@tpcoughl@Danny428280@MattHayesCFB If they have any sense in their contracts, the won’t have to pay Sorsby. There are clauses in nearly all pro contracts addressing things like this.
If they don’t, they need better lawyers and a better vetting process.
UC should also be hammered.
@tpcoughl@MattHayesCFB Sorsby committed the offense therefore Sorsby must be punished. Ruling Sorsby ineligible isn’t punishing Texas Tech in any sense that doesn’t happen in sports all the time (starter goes out, get suspended, whatever).
Texas Tech is attempting to enable Sorsby.
@reckless_kelley@SSN_TTU I'd have no problem w/ a hammer coming down on UC (and IU if gambling occurred there too).
However TT cannot allow Sorsby to play. It's arguably worse than UC b/c the issue is now known.
@DNP_chopper@RedditCFB Enabling. The player should be ineligible and the injunction would be meaningless if TT simply said "gambling on your own time is a bridge too far"
@scfilipowski@MarcoFoster_ I would expect a lawyer to provide some evidence of *how* termination of an insubordinate employee *for cause* sacrificed their integrity.
@ruwaromman Marta is run by a board selected by counties / city of Atlanta that are nearly completely Democrat controlled. One of 11 seats is appointed by the Governor.
