Very sad to report that I have to soon shut down the @burnchain API nodes. The fact of the matter is with recent @stacks upgrade to pack the blocks the DB IOs goes blown up exponentially. My cost went from $18 a day to $84 a day 😢. As an individual I can no longer sustain this.

Our @stacks API beta infrastructure is temporarily offline due to cost constraints that were a result of Release 2.05.0.4.0. We are evaluating our options to get back online. Stay tuned!

Finally synced a full @stacks node + api server with local #Bitcoin node and took just shy of 10 days to reach 100%. Next experiment with HDD well underway and as expected is producing promising early results. More detailed analysis on the way from the 10 day sync Soon™

Round 2 of experimenting with a local Bitcoin full node (sharing the same compute) after the last failed attempt. It seems there is not much different from when the Bitcoin full node was in the same local network but running on a separate CPU.
