Joined by the legacy team (S1 pupils @DalzielHigh), we've spent the past two days with P7 pupils @KnowetopPrimary remembering and learning about the events that unfolded on that fateful day. We also took a trip to Motherwell Fire Station.
A great project to be part of- thank you!
Last year marked the 60th anniversary of the death of Assistant Firemaster Stanley McIntosh and Station Officer Joseph Calderwood in a fire at Colville Steelworks, Motherwell. A year on and we've joined the Forged by Fire project once again to help commemorate them. @BurnsHistory
