@currys shock horror 48 hours on and still no refund. So it has now been over a week since the order was cancelled and I continue in a 48 hour holding pattern.

@NikkiRunsUK @currys @BBCWatchdog Feel your pain, I have been fighting with Currys since they cancelled my order last week trying to get my gift voucher refund which they palmed me off to wait 48-72 hours. Now 14 days which will make it 19 days in total. They have the product in stock 🤷‍♀️ no reason to cancel

@currys this is so unacceptable! I waited the 72 business hours and have just been told actually you need to wait 7-10 business days. You cancelled my order for a product that is still in stock. I am without the product, a birthday present for my son or my money!

And to add insult to injury I get this today following up from their email on 28th Nov from @currys whilst still waiting for my £420 refund from cancelling my order 🤦🏼‍♀️, so they are perfectly able to issue gift cards quicker than even the 72 hours I have now been promised!

@currys I am sad and disappointed. After spending a lot of money with you for a present using a gift card. The order was cancelled. I have just called to reorder! You won’t just send it out to me even though you have my money and you won’t issue a gift card for 7-10 working days.

What I find really sad is I cannot re-order as I don’t have the money and I also don’t have the product or a birthday present for my son. What a poor show. Apparently there is nothing that can be done. Except when I buy a gift card it’s instant but refunding a gift isn’t

Morning fail drove all the way to @CWOA, took one look at the gigantic queue to get in and drove home again. 3 hour round trip and disappointed kids but hearing the queue is up to 2 hours we made the right decision.
