Last night @Rothwell Fire Station took advantage of the days weather & joined up with @BurtonFire Station for a joint exercise.
The 2 crews were tasked with setting up an improvised monitor supplied by a compact pump that all our appliances carry.

Crews from Burton and Kettering were mobilised to a kitchen house fire in Burton Latimer. 1 x dog rescued and the use of 2 x BA with Hose reel jet, PPV fan and TIC to control the fire, clear the smoke and detect heat and fire spread.

Crews from Burton Latimer and Kettering attended a shed fire in Cranford, due a build up of electricals. This was extinguished using a 45mm Jet and Thermal imaging cameras were used to ensure no further spread. 🔥🚒

Crews from Corby, Burton Latimer and the Tactical Intervention Vehicle from Daventry attended a fire involving a shrink wrapping machine. This was extinguished using 45mm jets with crews wearing breathing apparatus 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒🚒🔥

Crew Mobilised to a 9 month old baby stuck in a bath seat in Burton Latimer. The crew safely extricated him using a junior hacksaw.

...This afternoon we were mobilised to assist one of our own Crew Members when a Fire broke out involving their Electric Shower

Luckily no serious damage was done & crews used Thermal Image Cameras to check for signs of Fire Spread
