ETHIOPIA KEEPS DELIVERING!

Today, we inaugurated the Arba Minch Conference Resort, another magnificent outcome of our 'Dine for Generation' initiative. This modern resort features state-of-the-art infrastructure, including a conference hall capable of hosting over 1,300 people and a unique floating restaurant on the lake. It will strengthen our vision of making Ethiopia a hub for international forums by expanding conference tourism beyond our capital city, while creating vast employment opportunities for local residents.

I call upon all our citizens, the diaspora, and the international community to visit and experience this new jewel of our nation, and to take part in this new chapter of Ethiopia's tourism and conference sector!

ዛሬ ያስመረቅነው የአርባምንጭ ኮንፈረንስ ሪዞርት የ‘ገበታ ለትውልድ’ መርሃ-ግብራችን ያፈራው ሌላኛው ታላቅ ስኬት ነው። ይህ ዘመናዊ ሪዞርት ከ1,300 በላይ ሰዎችን የሚያስተናግድ የስብሰባ አዳራሽና በሐይቅ ላይ የተገነባ ልዩ ተንሳፋፊ ሬስቶራንትን ያካተተ ሲሆን፤ ከመዲናችን ባሻገር የኮንፈረንስ ቱሪዝምን በማስፋፋት ኢትዮጵያን የዓለም አቀፍ መድረኮች ማዕከል የማድረግ ርዕያችንን ያጠናክራል፤ ለአካባቢው ማኅበረሰብም ሰፊ የሥራ ዕድል ፈጥሯል።

Today, I welcomed President @WilliamsRuto of Kenya for a one-day working visit, reflecting the deep, historic, and brotherly relations between our two nations. During our meeting, we focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional peace and security in the Horn of Africa, reaffirming our shared commitment to stability, dialogue, and African-led solutions.

Last year, I made an official visit to Malaysia, and one year later, I have the honor of welcoming Honorable Dato’ Seri @anwaribrahim, Prime Minister of the Federation of Malaysia.

This exchange of visits is a testament to our deepening partnership, further strengthened by the signing of several key documents: a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Fields of Tourism and Health, an Agreement on Air Services, and a collaboration document between the Kuala Lumpur City Council and the Addis Ababa City Administration.

During our bilateral talks, we reaffirmed our shared commitment to further solidify and expand our cooperation.
