Finally figured out what’s wrong with Ghana Jollof rice, it’s cooked with 24 hour electricity so it lacks character. Jollof rice that’s cooked in a relaxed environment comes out tasting complacent

@TfL shame on you. Train to chingford cancelled yesterday. Directed to Hackney Downs for replacement bus. At HD, no staff, no signs, at 11.45pm. Lone woman wandering around, feeling scared.

@TfL I went to that bus stop, and finally found a brilliant young man, working on the replacement bus service. He was knowledgeable, kind and, for the first time, I felt safe. I got home at 1.20am, having arrived at Liverpool street station at 11.25pm.

@TfL I was at Liverpool street station heading to Highams Park around 11.30pm on 9 April. I was told there were engineering works on Chingford line and advised to get 11.42 to Hertford East and get off at HD to get replacement bus. At HD, absolutely so staff, no signs.

@TfL I ended up getting the 56 to hear Whipps Cross, then 230 to Wood street, where I went inside the Overground to ask for directions. The staff at WS said they had been given no info, but had seen people going to a bus stop over the road.

@TfL I had no idea which bus stop service replacement bus. I was wondering around HD at midnight. It was frightening. This was planned engineering works, so inexcusable that there had been such little planning.
