Windsor & Royal Borough Museum has been awarded a grant from Arts Council England to expand its efforts to showcase Windsor Guildhall’s royal history. The investment will increase access and help preserve the heritage of the area.

#OTD in 1849, the first train left for Slough at 8:05 am and there were 10 further departures that day, with the last leaving at 9:20pm. The journey time was 6 minutes – the same as today.
