This country is a fucking joke. #Starmer needs to get the hell out now, and let someone who isn't a puppet have a go because the way he's leading the #UK is making North Korea look fuckin' hedonistic! #Labour#Liebour#Jokers
Labour is a joke. Banning 'familial pawn' - two unrelated actors PRETENDING to be related....while continuing to allow cousin marriage and even having a specific job in the NHS to deal with the fallout! #Labour#UK#Government
https://t.co/jteBXn1vO0 π€£Puritan INSANITY!
Utter nonsense. A bigger part of this issue is that most GPs only work three days a week now, if that! While remaining on a Β£50k-Β£75k+ salary. While qualified GPs sit home unemployed because the NHS can't afford them.
Iβll say it again. The reason its difficult to see a GP in the UK is because it is too easy to see a GP in the UK. Everybody thinks their issue is urgent, they want us to see palliative end of life cases urgently and fit in everybody with the sniffles as well. Need vs want.
@adamfare1996@Shrink_at_Large Bullshit as in "untrue" or bullshit as in "unfair"?
Cause if you think it's untrue, I've got some CCTV footage I can show you of an OT and a physio rocking up at my MIL's house a few months ago both in brand new Range Rovers...
Two reasons why the NHS is fucked
1. The amount of leave staff get. I swear no one is ever at work. They have more holidays that Judith Chalmers did.
2. Giving occupational/physio therapists brand new Range Rovers as "company cars".
@terrawuzhere @RaeA_Smith Been there and then some. It is a 24/7/365 responsibility, but you're not actively caring 24 hours a day. You're on-hand/on-call. Which should be appropriately compensated, as any other role would be. But I find saying "I care 24 hours a day" rubs people up the wrong way.
You would have to be a stone cold idiot to vote for Reform UK....Trouble is, this country is absolutely full of those. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.
@tinycas_@tiny_turtlefish So you're actively trying to drag a grown man based on a false narrative which you seemingly made up in your head? Got it! π
@RaeA_Smith Doctors/nurses/firefighters/electricians get incredibly rates of pay for being on call - carer's get nothing. That's entirely wrong, but banging the "I work 24/7" drum actively harms the plight of carers, in my opinion. I've seen so many people roll their eyes at that claim.
@s02551242@ludumludio Oh sod off, you idiot. Yes, they are facts of life but no one asks to be incontinent or unable to bathe or not being able to lift a kettle to make a cup of tea. Get out of your ivory tower. You're only one slip away from incapacity and seeing what it's really like.
@Ltas0712@ludumludio No they don't! They provide some items depending entirely on your circumstances and a lot of what people needed isn't covered. Devices aren't just walking frames and grabbers, they're things like incontinence products which are not supplied by health or social care.
@ludumludio I know three people who have been waiting 8 months for an OT assessment and have ended up going into debt to get what they need because PIP doesn't come close to covering it. Maybe that's the plan? Drive everyone into more debt so the bankers (government chums) get richer still?
@neildiamondsing @ludumludio You don't get to come to someone's tweet and bitch at them for not giving you the information you need. Go find it yourself, you lazy fuck! They're changing what PIP points count. What part of that do you not understand? Go do some reading and come back when you're informed.
The people phoning into #JeremyVine don't have a bloody clue do they? If they think it's easy to fake a PIP claim, why doesn't someone actually try and do it and see how stressful and invasive it really is. #DisabilityBenefits
