@wokal_distance sometimes, they don't *want* them in particular. the last time i visited 1 local shelter it was packed full with pits & mixes. they had $20 adoptions for most of the dogs & the towns around the shelter always have strays running around. it never ends.

if people want to keep the breed they need to focus on what is best for the breed which isn't what we are living with now.
