@InmanRoshi @InlandCaGuy Obviously wrong. The auto-admit policy disproportionately helps Latino and black high schools. If it were removed, percentages for Asian and white students would go up, mainly from private and large competitive suburban schools.

But it’s definitely the case at large Houston and Dallas suburban schools, some of which are majority Asian (with large pop. of Indian students), a 4.5 may not be in top 5% (or even 10%). These schools are very competitive in the top qtr.

Quansah intended to do a studsup tackle. That’s dangerous. The fact that the foul was worse because his leg got caught on the ball and his cleat hit higher up the Mexican player’s leg (which was “unintended”) does not excuse him.
