@RatioedSports When I first saw your profile I thought “oh cool, an unbiased page I can read” but quickly saw you are a Thunder fan so none of the commentary is surprising. Will be interesting to see how it plays out the next few years. Hopefully both can win a couple.
Are you the real Tom Penders or a parody account? If you were the head coach of Texas surely you can appreciate the Spurs have been a high class organization for the last 30 years…I hope you just mean this one instance and aren’t making generalizations about a team you know damn well has been at the upper echelons of the league.
@NBA_NewYork Idiotic New Yorkers can’t enjoy their first title in 50+ years and have to keep bitching about the Spurs…ENOUGH ALREADY. you won the fucking series and now you have to find other things to complain about…
Why so aggressive, Kevin? Your team won the series?…50+ year drought now over! How could you possibly still be fixating on the other team’s player.
Hes a competitor. Sometimes you come up short. Just like your republicans in NY…can’t give up. Have to keep battling, even if your personality / approach isn’t loved by all.
@SoonerFanJodan Thunder are so good. It’s a legitimate take. Wish the league would disband conferences and maybe we could actually see a Thunder Spurs finals one day.
@OKCskittles Finally a Thunder fan acknowledges the Spurs did something right at some point in the franchise history! You’d think reading things on here the spurs were scum of the earth. Let’s see how the two orgs progress but I hope both are relevant for a long time.
There was clearly frustration throughout the playoffs but he is incredibly mature for his age. You should listen to him speak for more than 30 seconds, especially given English is not his first language. He wants to be great and is not going to pander to the national media. He is who he is and you either like him or you don’t.
🤣 come on! They led for most the series but fell short. Better team won. Nothing wrong with that he is saying. English is the 2nd language and it’s factually correct they were leading every game. He will be humbled given the fact he lost and now has to improve if he wants to win.
@Tjonesonthenba Or they just ran out of steam and the inexperience and shitty coaching proved to not be enough against a veteran team they struggled with throughout the season. Like anything in life, you have to exude confidence to be successful. Some do it differently than others.
Todd, where’s the respect man? Spurs fans acknowledge how great the Knicks were. Brunson is a class act. Well deserved. Why punch low at a 22 year old kid trying to make his city and home country proud? We can give credit to the Knicks, confirm how great this run was for the city, and admit Wemby is a solid player who should be a fixture in the league going forward.
@JeffGSpursZone I don’t give a damn what they get labeled, just hope they come together and say “that is not what defines us”. We can and will be better. Prove everyone wrong. Go execute and get back in the lab after a well deserved break.
The current arena was constructed to try and gentrify the area. For a team of the Spurs caliber, it is no longer sufficient, and incredibly distant to where I would venture to say most season ticket holders live. I don’t love local fans getting priced, but I think that was more a product of the opponent they played vs anything else.
