The Firsts ultimately won comfortably on Saturday although it could have been very different against a much-improved @wenhaston_fc!

A lacklustre 1st half probably saw us lucky to come in 2-1 up as Wenhaston gave as good as they got. The 2nd half was much better & we probably should have added a few more than the 3 we did as the game finished 5-1!

We are fully aware we will need to be much better if we are to achieve what we want this season but massive credit to Wenhaston for keeping going & making it hard for us!

Goalscorers ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ on the day were Harry Baker, George Butcher, Louis Webb, @TGParsons & Arthur McCourt!

MOM was Toby Parsons for a menacing, bristling display as a HT sub!

Results from last week! First Team win comfortable on the road with Louis Webb having to deputise in goal due to a warm-up injury.
The Reserves were extremely unlucky in their cup contest with high flying Haughley Utd. The lottery of penalties was the decider.
