Andy Butler

limping through life with a chronic addiction to running, football grounds & cricket & suffering the constant failings of Boston Utd, Notts CCC & Sheffield Utd.

@UttleyRobert @BladesArchives 19k there, we thought it was a massive gate!!!
Sometimes things do change for the better

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@UttleyRobert @BladesArchives He started out at Spalding Utd, went to them at S6 from there, i think he got a hat trick early in his FL career. I remember BUFC being keen to sign him but even an idiot wouldn't turn down 2nd div football for Boston Utd!!!
It was a header at BL wasn't it? In front of The Kop

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@BladesArchives Yep, went to the home leg, abysmal 1st half, should have scored 3 or 4 second half.

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@BladesArchives Huddersfield 1987/88

A seed was sown

As my uncle said as I got in the car that was originally going h to take us to Hillsborough for them v Liverpool

"That'll never regret it pal"

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@PieOnTheEdge77 @SamNevin98 He can't be from Sheffield then.......

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@TrailOfDebt Had better weeks

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@SUFCOfficial Shit, on top of shingles and conjunctivitis its not been a great week.

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@AlastairWright Used to come into Tinsley off the A57 and M1, and i can always remember a sulphurous smell around Anston if the wind was in the wrong direction.
This was from the 70's to the mid 80's.

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@bostonutdstats Usually your tweets are good for debate Christian, but that is a pretty low bar in all honesty, Gateshead are the kind of club you have to beat or your season goes very sour. If utd had lost PH would be history today
Come on, not a criticism so don't get arsey like the club do,

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@CrazyKellyMarie Tell you what Kelly, you'll think different if you lot do get back to The PL & your season ticket goes to a corporate customer or a newbie prepared to stump up whatever ridiculous increase the club impose.
At the minute you're in L1 because its your level. History is irrelevant

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@TrailOfDebt @bostonutdstats Yep
His level, one he knows inside out.

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@JeremyHunt12270 @FanzineFC Too right Jeff

No PL for a start!!!!

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@bostonunited Stopped announcing the attendance I see....... is that just forgetfulness or a directive from on high?

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@bostonunited Blushes spared for a few days

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@bostonunited Just pathetic

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@bostonunited Sounds riveting

[Andy Butler @ButlerAndy]

@Navara10NZO If it is then he's gone, DN won't stand the gates collapsing like that
