@RichardF1990 So what are we then? We've been in the same league(s) as a good chunk of these teams for the last 26 years. Attendances count for fuck all if we still continue to mill about in these leagues

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

Sorry but I hate this about our fanbase. It screams entitled.

We've been in this league on 4 occasions since the turn of the 21st century, & minus 15-16/16-17 we've been in constant relegation battles in the Championship. The audacity to call teams in this league tinpot. #swfc

[Kelly Wesley @CrazyKellyMarie]

Hate this league with a passion. I know we are a league 1 team at the min, but hate these tin pot teams we’re playing against, hate the sheds of grounds we have to go to. All the while we pull in 30k at home games & sell out every away game. We deserve better #swfc

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@swfcrcb Yep 🤣 not sure we'd enjoy seeing Mitchell on the wing

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

Tonight absolutely confirmed for me that we can't play Bannan & Mitchell in a midfield. Has to be a 3 of Mitchell sitting deep, with Heskey and Slattery as your ones getting forward. As for up top, Gray and Mitchell on the wings, DKD central #swfc

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@Jswfc1996 It's just a stinking attitude, doesn't sit well with me at all. It's like when we don't get a result it's because these teams are shite and show up defending against us all game. Cambridge last night were the better side and played some good football

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@Nathanswfc2004 Depressing ain't it man. I'm 28 now, been going since like 2004/5, have experienced nothing but struggles minus those two Carlos seasons

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@ButlerAndy 🤣🤣 tbh being sensible and a football fan never really goes hand in hand does it

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@TenMenPlus1 It just doesn't sit right with me calling other teams "tinpot" for a league we've spent a good chunk of our recent years in. Yeah we've got big attendances, so what?? We're still in the same league and, at present, aren't performing great in it

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@georgelerobot Absolutely mate. It's kinda why I was trying to give Henrik time, we're so quick as fans to just jump to being negative the second something isn't clicking. All of this rebuild is gonna take time, but we have such big expectations I'm not sure all fans will be patient enough

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@mallett_kieran Bannan wants to do the sitting role and be on the ball, which is just proving a huge detriment to how we play. Having them both sit deep collecting the ball leaves such a huge gap between our midfield and attack

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

Guys just FYI we can't ever praise a player again because we were good for 5 years 30 years ago!! #swfc

[adam @adam09685794]

Do you know when you’ve seen top class players in blue and white and you’ve got some spotty little kid telling you Weaver had a brilliant game you’ve actually got to feel sorry for them 🤣 lucky as fuck my generation seeing what we saw

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@SwfcGurny Agreed mate. Of all the loans we have, Heskey is the last one that should be missing out IMO. Even if he doesn't start, not having him in the squad means we literally don't have another midfielder to bring on, it's insane that he's been left out as often as he has

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@maccaowl He's obviously being asked to play further forward than what he wants / is able to. He should just be sitting in front of the back 4. Problem is him and Bannan are both playing the same role, and it's not working.

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@owlsmadmorris You can tell by the fact he's taking 4-5 touches. If that's Bannan or Slattery it's a touch out his feet and an effort

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@owlsmadmorris I don't disagree, but I think he's been asked to play too far forward and he's just not comfortable with it at all. His role should literally be to sit in front of the back 4, win the ball and pass it on

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@GlingK03 That’s when I tweeted I think 🤣 in the same passage he then got wrong side of his man and miscontrolled it out of play, sad to see honestly

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

Liam Palmer in 2026, absolutely atrocious

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@Nathanswfc2004 Think he had one good season at RB in like 2013, that’s it. Everytime he comes on this season he puts in the absolute worst shift, it’s actually sad to see

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@dillnnn Reece James put at least 6 good balls in today that any normal striker would've been all over

[Sam Nevin @SamNevin98]

@harvey_walters_ Think he looked a little shaky first half on the ball but definitely grew into the game with confidence. Hopefully he just came off as a precaution
