Just want to give some love to my favorite film of all-time 🤲🙏
I adore this piece with all of my heart. One of the most flawless, rapturous, and impactful works of art I have ever seen. This had a major effect on me on my first watch and still offers more on every revisiting.
my fav character in eddington was the white kid who became fake woke for some pussy then a year later moved to florida to become a republican grifter lol
John C. Reilly questions why human rights have become political
"If you stand up for human rights, why is that a right or left thing? Why aren’t people on the right wing concerned about human rights?"
"Elon Musk says, 'don’t be fooled by the empathy trap'. ... Empathy is not a trap, empathy is a superpower. It’s what makes human beings exceptional, our ability to look outside ourself”
"Do unto others ... It's crazy that we have to argue for these things"

@JackSutpen@PoorOldRoloTony Always is pretty good. Hook is a mess but it's not terrible. 1941 is one of his only truly awful films. Disclosure Day is good.
I'll say that while Disclosure Day did not fully work for me, what continues to stand out for me is that there's a deeply repressed darkness to Spielberg that keeps him interesting, it's what's under the sincerity. The tension is in whether he's able to grapple with that
Disclosure Day: STAY THROUGH THE CREDITS!!!
There’s no post-credits or anything but this could be the last time we hear new John Williams music in a theater.
First trailer for ‘THE SOCIAL NETWORK’ sequel, starring Jeremy Strong, Jeremy Allen White and Mikey Madison.
The film follows an engineer who becomes a whistleblower on Facebook's most guarded secrets.
In theaters on October 9.
