βΌοΈ June 11, the bishops of the United States will consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus during their Spring Plenary Assembly in Orlando, Florida.
This takes place during the 250th anniversary year of the Declaration of Independence.
But what does that actually mean?
Consecration means freely placing ourselves under the care and kingship of Jesus Christ. It is a public act of trust. As Catholics, we believe Christ is Lord not only of individuals, but also of families, communities, and nations.
β€οΈ And you can participate from home.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus reminds us of Christ's real and personal love for every human person. Through the private revelations received by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, this devotion spread throughout the Church as an invitation to trust Jesus more deeply and respond to His love. The Church encourages this devotion while teaching that private revelations do not add to the deposit of faith.
Many Catholics are also drawn to the promises associated with devotion to the Sacred Heart, shared through the private revelations received by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque:
β I will give them all the graces necessary for their state in life.
β I will establish peace in their homes.
β I will comfort them in all their afflictions.
β I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all, in death.
β I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings.
β Sinners will find in My Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy.
β Lukewarm souls shall become fervent.
β Fervent souls shall quickly rise to great perfection.
β I will bless every place in which an image of My Heart is exposed and honored.
β I will give priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.
β Those who spread this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart.
β In the excess of the mercy of My Heart, I promise that My all-powerful love will grant to those who receive Holy Communion on the First Fridays for nine consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they shall not die in My displeasure or without receiving the sacraments, and My Heart shall be their secure refuge in that last hour.
So how can you take part on June 11?
β Attend Mass if you're able.
β Go to Confession.
β Make a personal or family Act of Consecration.
β Pray before an image of the Sacred Heart.
β Offer prayers for our nation, our leaders, and those who have fallen away from the faith.
Many of us want God to bless our nation. But have we invited Him to reign in our own hearts?
This consecration isn't just about America. It's also an invitation to surrender our own lives more completely to Christ.
πΊπΈβ€οΈ Will you be joining in prayer?
@FreddieTheOsFan Nothing. Gunnar feels the need to show he is better than Alonso. Alonso feels the need to justify his contract. And no one plays good situational baseball. A terrible baseball team that should be considerably better.
@realbenmcdonald@Britt_Ghiroli As a fan since 1968, I thank you for having the guts to say what you said. You hit the nail on the head. Hopefully, present ownership won't send you away like Dave Johnson or Jon Miller. There is no excuse for this franchise being this bad for so long. New ownership is depressing
@BreitbartNews At the moment of death. Your soul will be judged. You will go to Heaven, hell or Purgatory. A professed Catholic should both know and believe this and be working very hard to save their souls. And understand they have the ability to save others.
