Actor Baba Ijesa Calls Out Mr. Latin for distancing himself from him despite calling him Over 25 Times After Returning From prison

Yoruba actor and comedian, Baba Ijesa, has called out fellow actor, Mr. Latin, describing him as an opportunist while recounting his experience during a recent crisis involving them.

Speaking during a programme, Baba Ijesa alleged that after returning from Jerusalem, he repeatedly tried to reach Mr. Latin but was met with excuses.

According to him, he called his elder brother more than 25 times, only to hear responses such as, “I’m in a meeting, I’m in a meeting.”

Baba Ijesa said he could have edited his account to avoid making Mr. Latin look bad but deliberately chose to tell the story as it happened.

He further revealed that upon arriving in the area, he went to report at their house and was subsequently arrested.

The actor explained that Mr. Latin’s closeness with Sirikimi and his popularity may have influenced his actions, adding that he understood why his colleague might not want to get involved in trouble.

He also disclosed that Mr. Latin’s previous comments about the situation upset him because he believed the actor knew what had happened when he arrived.

Baba Ijesa, however, appeared to caution against escalating the disagreement, noting that if he chose to fight Mr. Latin, he could even do so through a movie.

“There is no theatre practitioner without wisdom; you cannot find a foolish comedian. We don’t call comedy foolishness,it is inspiration,” he said.

He ended by stressing the importance of wisdom and patience, as a song played in the background, “Gently, gently is how an elder acts. If we live long in this world, we become elders.”

I Almost Missed My Wife Because She Was Chubby — Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo Reveals, Warns Singles Against Choosing Spouses Based on Physical Appearance

Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has advised intending couples not to base their choice of a spouse solely on physical appearance, stressing that marriage can change how people view their preferences.

Speaking about his own experience, the cleric said he almost missed marrying his wife because he initially considered her body size a concern.

He said, “When I met her, I liked everything about her,smart, spiritual, work, friends, everything, I liked everything. My only concern was that I felt she was a bit plump, she was a bit chubby.”

According to him, his preference for slim women was influenced by what he had seen in movies, adverts and beauty pageants rather than actual experience.

“I like slim girls, I like slim girls. That’s what I felt. Where did I get it from? I’ve just been seeing it everywhere,in movies, in adverts, in beauty pageants,” he said.

Okonkwo explained that he later realised that people who have never been married may have unrealistic expectations about what they want in a spouse.

“You think you will not like a woman that is not slim, have you married one before? So, it’s speculation,” he stated.

He added that after years of marriage, his wife’s character had become more important to him than her physical appearance.

“Because when you marry somebody, especially for long term, their behavior will be more important than their shape,” he said.

The pastor further warned men against choosing a wife solely because she fits a particular physical preference, arguing that appearance alone does not determine the quality of a marriage.

He said, “That slim girl you are talking about, if she’s wicked, you will not have s+x with her for six months. There are men that are so provoked by their wives, they can’t get an er£ction to sleep with her.”

Okonkwo urged singles to seek advice from people with actual marriage experience rather than relying solely on assumptions about their spec.
