Warwickshire Police hosted a family day on Saturday at Leek Wootton & we’ve been sent wonderful photos, Thank you Chris Hobson who took them.

Morning!! It’s Monday but our #MondayMotivation is the Specialist Search Course starting today. The TPD’s will be taught to recognise an odour, source it & freeze on the location of the substance to become 💊💰🔫 search dogs. TPD Bella & TPD Frizzi are both on the course 🐶

13 weeks of hard work by all. A long journey for PC Bonser Selection, covid, release to the department and his first operational dog. The old hand Deeming didn't have it any easier but we are all very proud of your success. Now, go and get um. 😉👏

Today TPD Joker & TPD Jinx will be tested & assessed on all elements of their training after their 13 week course by an instructor from @WMPDogs. The handler & dog have to demonstrate that they are a safe + effective team & if they pass will be licensed to work operationally 🐶🐾

Commissioner @seccombephilip has today announced that @warkspolice's Temporary Deputy Chief Constable Debbie Tedds is his preferred candidate to be the next Warwickshire Chief Constable. If approved by the Police and Crime Panel she will be the first female head of the force.
