Too many players will start fall baseball just like they finished summer baseball.
Weak and Undersized.
It's a damn shame.
Players
You can't gain weight because you're not eating enough calories and you're not lifting hard enough.
It's as simple as that.
6000 calories per day should be the goal.
Schools are not recruiting undersized weak kids.
Stop with the excuses and get to work.
Being undersized (nothing to do with your height) and weak, advertises loud and clear, you're lazy and the game of baseball doesn't mean a lot to you.
Try eating 2 hard boiled eggs and 16 ounces of vitamin D chocolate milk every night before bed and see what happens.
Stop with the excuses, nobody wants to hear them.
Be relentless and get it done in the weight room and with caloric intake.
🗣️Serious ⚾️players:
Hopefully at some point you will realize that video games and other screen time priorities don’t help you achieve your goals! And when you do choose to spend more time on📱🎮 over ⚾️, don’t blame your coach when you don’t play, don’t succeed & don’t get a chance at the next level!

Most guys who don’t play fall baseball to get bigger, faster, stronger, focus on school, and train are going to STRUGGLE in college. You have to do all of that at the same time AND PLAY. Best to learn how to balance it all now before it’s too late for you!
🚨 Interested vs. Committed
• Toughness vs. Excuses
• Hard Work vs. Corner Cutting
• Accountable vs. Blaming Others
⭐️ Winners don’t tell everyone else how much they want to win. They prove it to everyday by showing how hard they are willing to work.
I’ve replaced “flips” with overhand “darts” in our early work. It’s a more realistic sight picture for our hitters and we can work on velo at a 20 ft distance. #hittingtwitter
Disagree Chris. In hs kids leave because they don’t want to compete for jobs. I do agree when that many leave you need to seriously look in the mirror.
In my experience the only guys that have left our program are guys that just don’t understand competition and how to thrive
Gotta look at yourself and your program. Kids and parents feel inclined to leave when they think they can get better or more somewhere else. Stop placing blame and just be better.
Change is scary and exciting all at the same time. I’m gonna miss the Eagle family that we created the last 11 years. I can honestly say it is in much better shape than it was that 1st year when we won 9 games. I won’t be too far away and I’m a phone call away. Time to fly
@thereallsu777 What are you going to do in life when you have someone better than you in a position you want? You gonna try to outwork him or just keep running from the competition. Have you ever overcame a challenge? Of course we all have.
It’s rare to see truly aggressive baseball players anymore. Back in the day, guys played hard—hard slides, dirty uniforms, no concern about drip or looking good. They just played the game. Somewhere along the way, we lost that edge. That’s my take.
Hitting has declined not from pitching, but from unnatural “styles” taught built upon coaches theory/ interpretation. Athletes must follow their bodies natural gifts- those are being removed- Reggie Smith & I showed @msween29 why he had succes in his altered stance width
