@BnvilleVillage What a lovely day trip

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

First full week back for @BnvilleVillage Thanks to everyone who gave up time in their during the holidays to make changes inside school! We've welcomed 2 new governors at our first Governors' meeting of the term and decided what each of our responsibilities would be this year

@WMFSBournbrook @BnvilleVillage @WestMidsFire Thank you for coming, and thank you for your kind words. It's a pretty impressive photo of our school hall too!

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

@BnvilleVillage @WildLivesFS I’m sure school was never this much fun when I was little!

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

A couple of us also spent time with Mr Evans looking round the playground and seeing all the new and exciting things being planned for outdoor fun and learning. Fortunately it didn’t rain while we were outside!

We’ve had a busy week as governors. On Wednesday a morning long finance meeting as it’s almost end of the financial year. Today was much more fun with the Easter celebrations. Being asked to dance in church was a bit of a surprise though!

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

Thank you to all members of staff for helping to keep @BnvilleVillage open over the last couple of days. Not sure all the children may feel the same way! Have a restful weekend

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

It's been a busy half term for everyone connected with school. Our final Governors' meeting before the holidays was our Finance committee. We've looked at current finances, and after the holidays will be meeting to decide how we can use it best to benefit the children.

@BnvilleVillage I saw you in the park. You were all great ambassadors for the school

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

@BnvilleVillage @SFE_MS @bvllediva As the governor who used be a percussionist in the Bournville Junior School orchestra, this is my favourite clip :)

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

@BnvilleVillage @SFE_MS @bvllediva Such talent and dedication

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

@BnvilleVillage @SFE_MS @bvllediva We have some brilliant musicians in school! Lovely to hear them play

@StAnthonysSch Our thoughts are with you and everyone in your community. Hugs and strength for the coming days

We’ve had our end of term Full Governors’ meeting this week. It lasted over 3 hours! We are sad to say goodbye to Miss Mattocks but we have spent a lot of time talking about succession planning so that the transition to Mrs Cooper’s headship is seamless.

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

Today it’s been a privilege to attend Y1 nativity plays. Performance was beautiful. Children were all really well behaved and a credit to the school when crossing Linden Road. A lovely morning

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

@WildLivesFS @BnvilleVillage Brilliant

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

@BnvilleVillage What a lovely way to mark the occasion

[BVPSGovs @BvpsGovs]

@BnvilleVillage @WildLivesFS That looks so much fun!

We were delighted to see Mrs Cooper this week meeting more children and spending time with members of staff. She’s working really hard to make the transition seamless in January when she become Head.
