It's bizarre and inappropriate the that president of the United States is taking calls from multiple journalists in the middle of ongoing strikes - thinking out loud about US/allied diplomatic and military responses, and telling reporters what he's going to tell allies before he tells those allies.

No criticism of the reporters -- they're doing their jobs. But insane that POTUS receives -- and often answers --a wave of calls from journalists as events unfold in the middle of his wartime decisionmaking (and, yes, it's a war).

And it's even more disturbing coming as it does from a leader featured in a morning broadcast interview that demonstrates in such striking fashion how detached he is from day-to-day reality.

@buffalopaddy @bendreyfuss Lastly, Fifa sells blocks of tickets to third party vendors as a hedge against the uncertainty and for greater reach. Fifa gets the certainty of selling a block of seats to seat geek and maybe receiving an additional percentage of the sale. Nothing nefarious in this.

@buffalopaddy @bendreyfuss If demand is lower than expected forcing fifa to lower prices of seats in comparable seats of which I purchased, then that does not mean I get a refund from fifa for the price drop. Why? Because at the time I paid, I made the decision to do so to guarantee I had a ticket.

@buffalopaddy @bendreyfuss Generally speaking, an organization setting dynamic pricing on luxury goods (which Fifa tickets are a luxury, not a necessity) to an amount you dislike, does not make it fraudulent or shameful. They may have overestimated a bit, but they can adjust pricing based on demand.
