@ellie_apollo@Vera_RMCF If you want to be world champions, you have to win every game, including the final. You can’t cry about the path if you make it all the way to the final and still lose.
Not only that, I want every hater to keep hating and keep saying it’s rigged. Because, oh my Lord, the lies and nonsense they come up with are crazy.
I’m going to enjoy watching them get mad over the beautiful fútbol Argentina brings. Vamos Argentina. Let’s give the haters even more reasons to hate.
Argentina is so good that haters can’t handle losing to the reigning World Cup champions. 🇦🇷🏆
@jonahcelona@WinnaFC I mean, bro, regardless of what country the referee is from, refs are supposed to follow the rules. But somehow, every time Argentina wins, people say it’s rigged or that it was a robbery—even when the refs are applying legitimate rules.
Well, I think it’s pretty simple. Some people just can’t accept losing.
If you play soccer, you understand these calls better. But if you’ve never played or don’t really know the rules, it can feel like your team got robbed.
The rules have always been there, and this doesn’t only happen with Argentina. It happens to teams like Arsenal, Paraguay, and many others too—not just in this World Cup.
I get why it’s hard to accept, especially when it was a really good build-up that ended up being disallowed. But at the end of the day, rules are rules, and we have to follow them even when it sucks.
I saw another replay from a different angle. It wasn’t in slow motion and it still wasn’t very clear, but from that angle it looks like the Argentina player gets the ball first before there’s any contact. If the Argentina player had made contact with the opponent first, then I’d agree it would’ve been a foul.
Honestly though, from this angle and at full speed, it’s really hard to tell. We need a slow-motion replay or a clearer angle, like they showed in the Egypt vs. Argentina game.
I can understand why you see it that way, and I think it’s a fair opinion. From the footage we have, it’s difficult to be certain. I could be wrong, or you could be wrong—it’s just hard to tell.
I do respect you for actually pulling up the video. 👏🤝
People talk about consistency and fairness, but the truth is that with or without VAR, there will always be inconsistency because we’re all human. If you’re expecting perfection, only God can provide that. God is perfect. Expecting referees or VAR to make perfect decisions every single time just isn’t realistic.

🗣️ “When people call the World Cup rigged for Argentina, Messi fans should take it as a praise.”
🗣️ “Let it sink in. Messi is so unbelievably gifted that the only explanation some people can come up with for what he does on the pitch is that the game is rigged.”
🗣️ “He is literally the god of football.” 🐐🇦🇷
