@yung_evren Would you be able to chat sometime today about your concerns with the contract for a story I'm working on for Law360 about the TA? You can reach me at [email protected] if so. Thanks!
@BenFredericks Hi Ben, would you be willing to talk for a few minutes about some of the concerns workers have about the TA for a story I'm working on about the deal for Law360? You can send me an email at [email protected] if you have some time.
I'm excited to share a project I've been working on for awhile now: Law360's NLRB Precedent Tracker. We're tracking dozens of areas in which the GC is seeking to change precedent, with details on issues, vehicles, briefs, etc. Check it out at the link

The NLRB Union, which represents workers at the agency, is holding a rally outside headquarters in Washington.
They are demonstrating over a new contract with the agency, particularly over agency leadership looking to end their current telework arrangement
NLRB leaders have ramped up concerns about funding recently, including last week when Chair Lauren McFerran warned of a "looming financial crisis" at an ABA conference in Washington
BREAKING: NLRB leaders warned in a letter to Congressional appropriators that they may have to furlough workers if they don't get an immediate funding bump. The agency faces a $20M shortfall to maintain current numbers, the chair + GC say, via @ByTimRyan https://t.co/bd9Qi8waRd
"The board is facing a looming financial crisis" - NLRB Chair Lauren McFerran said today at an ABA conference in D.C.
She touted the agency's ability to cut processing times, but said they're facing a $20M shortfall if the board is flat funded again.
NEW: A Law360 analysis found that NLRB regional offices have had starkly different appraisals of labor charges against employers, w/ some finding merit at 2x the rate of others, a critical stat bc regions typically only pursue cases when they find merit https://t.co/VNtl5NAi20

New: Law360 sat down with @NLRBGC Jennifer Abruzzo for an interview touching on the NLRA's purpose, her initiatives, getting Mother's Day wishes from @JortsTheCat + more, w/ @ByTimRyan https://t.co/OmRlzyG0el
Jackson Lewis Principal Daniel Schudroff spoke @ByTimRyan of @Law360 about a potential precedent shift from the #NLRB that would prevent employers from revoking agreements to deduct union dues after labor contracts expire. Read the article at the link below.
There won't be resolution today on the Cheektowaga store. The workers voted 15-9 in favor of the union, but there are 7 challenged ballots.
The union objected to six ballots, disputing whether the voter is employed there. Starbucks objected on the same grounds to one.
It appears that Starbucks workers at a store in Buffalo have voted in favor of unionizing. Tally not final yet but would be the first union at the coffee chain
From last night: The NLRB has issued internal guidance on bargaining obligations over the OSHA vaccine mandate and could release public guidelines soon.
Potentially significant for bargaining over issues like who foots the bill for testing.

There have been increasing inquiries as to whether a Democratic-controlled #NLRB would consider readdressing the #WeingartenRights precedent set by #SCOTUS in 1975; Jackson Lewis attorney Daniel Schudroff offers legal insights in this article from @Law360's @ByTimRyan.
