@OdimaraI I can relate to this. Most of the contracts i hv won and most of the business financial supports i have gotten my early days comes from dress and my way of communication. This i heard from the mouth of my helpers then. Dress and smell good it has huge advantage.

Absolutely! That's the mindset attackers rely on.
Most cyber incidents don't happen because the victim was specifically targeted—they happen because someone believed, "I'm not important enough to be attacked."
Cybersecurity is about reducing risk before an incident occurs, not regretting it afterward. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Security Tip #8
One of the most dangerous assumptions in cybersecurity is:
"It won't happen to me."
Attackers don't only target large companies or famous individuals.
They look for easy opportunities.
An unpatched system. A weak password. An exposed Remote Desktop service. A user who clicks a phishing link. A cloud storage bucket left publicly accessible.
Cybercriminals don't always attack the biggest target.
They attack the least prepared one.
In cybersecurity, preparation is always cheaper than recovery.
@JosephineUzonwa All i do is crypto and forex. You various post i have read so far is now opening my eyes toward Nigerian stocks. Hope to get more info from you
@JamieNiyi Thank you! That's exactly the goal of ZONE TECHNOLOGIES.
We believe complex technology doesn't have to be explained with complex language. Our approach is to make professional ICT concepts simple enough for anyone willing to learn, without sacrificing technical accuracy.
Heard of Virtualization?
Imagine buying 10 physical servers just to run 10 different applications.
Now imagine running all 10 on a single powerful server while keeping them completely isolated from one another.
That's the power of virtualization.
A hypervisor allows multiple Virtual Machines (VMs), each with its own operating system, CPU, memory, and storage, to run independently on the same physical hardware.
The result are:
Lower hardware costs.
Better resource utilization.
Faster deployment.
Easier backup and disaster recovery.
Greater flexibility for testing and production.
Virtualization is one of the technologies that transformed modern data centers and paved the way for cloud computing.
In subsequent days i will be taking you round the world of Virtualization. Let's have fun knowing about various technologies around us.
Cloud Computing....
Many people think moving to the cloud means your data is automatically secure.
It doesn't.
Cloud providers secure the cloud infrastructure, but you are still responsible for securing your accounts, passwords, applications, and data.
This is known as the Shared Responsibility Model.
The cloud provider secures the platform.
You secure what you put on it.
Understanding this simple principle can prevent costly security mistakes.
When people hear "cloud," they usually think "big tech company will take care of everything." But nope, that's actually where the problems begin. Cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google keep the house safe, but it's up to you to lock your doors, set the alarm, and make sure your windows aren't left open.
@Maskoff023 How do u skip Networking as a security personnel, no not possible. Your knowledge is not complete and u will flop along the way several times
