The most critical capability for Optimus to unlock is the ability to learn new tasks simply by watching videos. Musk believes this is the key to massive, rapid task extension:

The YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth has selected Rana Zaman as their 2025 Peace Medal recipient despite her long record of antisemitic statements, Holocaust distortion, and public justification of Hamas terrorism. Her posts have included conspiracy narratives about Jewish power, collective accusations against Jews and Zionists, and repeated denial or minimization of the October 7 atrocities.

B’nai Brith Canada has conducted a detailed review of her public online activity, and drafted a formal letter to the YMCA’s President and CEO outlining the concerns. We have further informed the YMCA that Ms. Zaman’s record meets multiple IHRA examples of antisemitism and urged them to reassess her eligibility for the award. We also requested that the YMCA issue a clear public statement affirming that it does not condone antisemitism, Holocaust distortion, or terror apologism, and have not yet received a substantive response.

To the sponsors and funders of the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth, whose names now lend credibility to this decision, you must decide whether you are prepared to have your brand associated with an award given to someone with this record. Your funding, and your public reputation are now tied to a medal recipient who legitimizes antisemitism and the whitewashing of terrorism.

Sponsors, you must insist that the YMCA withdraw this honour and correct its mistake. B’nai Brith Canada will not be silent, and the community will remember those who chose to look away.
