Friars with a dismantling of Pittsburgh, 87-64, at the AMP. Impressive stuff from a group without Devin Vanterpool and Ryan Sabol.
Contributions up and down the roster, with Arrinten Page hitting four 3-pointers (16 points), Ryan Mela shooting 5-7 and 3-4 from 3 (15 points), and Miles Byrd finishing with 17 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, 5 blocks, and 2 steals.
Really nice lifts from Jacob Bannarbie (6 and 6 in 12 minutes) and Leonard Marangon (8 points, 2-5 from three, 2 steals) in 13 minutes.
Since we are getting close to the first official game. I thought I would remind everyone that @FriarTV is where you can watch all the games for free (except the exhibitions). Here is the link to the website: https://t.co/YcxXuU7uyP
Go Friars!
media keeps ranking us middle of the pack in the big east like we didn’t just retool the entire roster with high-major talent.
malik mack running the point with real shooters around him is going to embarrass a lot of “top tier” guards this year. keep sleeping on us. #PCMBB
Imagine being so obsessed with Providence basketball that you take the time to create a fake college admissions essay just to clown a 20-year-old kid.
The funniest part is you actually thought this was clever. 😂
Rick Pitino finally made St. John’s relevant again after decades of irrelevance, and somehow their fans are STILL more concerned with Providence than their own program.
Pitino can rebuild the basketball program, but apparently he can’t fix the fanbase.
Providence really lives rent-free in your heads. 😭
