@petebvt It impressive no doubt, and what was expected with Franklin coming in. I think this is another reason why it was important that we kept Brent Pry, he started moving us in the right direction from a recruiting standpoint!

@therealdcunna Interesting to see the team have to slow there play down and run sets vs the previous games where they ran the floor so much. Great to see they can win playing multiple “styles” of basketball!

@lanj1504 @therealdcunna Sorry meant Jacksonville university. They played a great second half. But exactly my point experience and playing at the college level longer has a better chance to win games vs relying on underclassmen to learn on the job and win

@therealdcunna I think it goes to show it doesn’t matter what conference you’re in, a young team is going to make mistakes and still has to learn to win. The other thing is we have talented young player’s that if they stay MY will have a very solid basketball team in the future.

@therealdcunna It’s hard to swallow the loss, but from a roster age comparison standpoint Jacksonville state has 1 freshmen, 2 sophomores and the rest are upperclassmen. We have 2 grad students (one plays), 1 Senior, 1 Junior (Lawal) and the rest are underclassmen. (cont)

@treadmillhorse It’s crazy how I remember fuente never kicking field goals in the red zone and losing multiple games by 3 points. Pry currently is doing the same thing…

@treadmillhorse Couldn’t agree more. He knows how to coach and that is the biggest step in the process. Figuring out NIL and roster management is still so new. MY and the staff will get it figured out

@VT4L_Joe The issue is playing on the road, home record is tied with the best in the ACC. The road games are tied for the worst. If they can figure out 3-4 more road wins a year this is a top 5 ACC team

@therealdcunna The one most important thing MY has struggled to figure out is how to get the team to play on the road, hopefully this offseason he can bring in an assistant to help. Even if it results in 4-5 more road wins it would put this team in the upper half of the ACC standings….

@LoganMBMcKinney Yea that is interesting for sure, I think the hard thing as well is ranking teams on the whole season versus how they play this month. VT is a completely different team than they were when we played you all
