@mrossano6970@Atomsmade Stuff like atoms, subatomic particles, germs....prior to their discoveries science then was unaware of their existence and didn't know what caused illnesses nor what held matter together at the most basic level.
@mrossano6970@Atomsmade Religious and superstitious beliefs mostly crumble under logic, scientific evidence and explanations for events and more, however the existence of the supernatural isn't implausible, could be advanced or unknown physics we can't perceive yet, kinda like the discovery of..
@RulerBait@Atomsmade Ofc the existence of a creator, even in the abstract sense isn't implausible, I'm saying the official narrative(s) from the abrahamics who claim to have a monopoly on objective truth is what I don't buy...especially when you factor in the one two many scriptural contradictions.
@protedze@Atomsmade Bingo. Chinese gods look Chinese, Mayan gods look Mayan, Norse gods look European, Sumerian and other middle eastern gods look middle eastern.....even Yeshua looked middle eastern before the Catholic church retrofitted him to look very european-enough to reassure Europe😂
@protedze@Atomsmade ..acts very much like a human/ mortal. he rested in the 7th day from his work, he regretted making man, he needed information from Adam, he commanded genocides & espouses Supremacy of Jews, had to be reminded of his promise by Moses, 'repented' from his plan to destroy Nineveh😂
@protedze@Atomsmade To be frank if you study the 'holy books and scrolls' of the abrahamics with an open mind, you'd realize that the idea of an almighty, all knowing, all present creator are exaggerations and gradual inventions to solidify Yahwic supremacy. Yahweh..
@protedze@Atomsmade That adds more to the fact that the fault ultimately lies with the creator. Didn't Yahweh regret making man and initiate the flood? A supposed global genocide by the divine?
Perfection should not be expected from the imperfect creations, if there's only one perfect being🤔
@BBrauneck34742@Atomsmade 1. The big bang is a very plausible theory, much more than creation myths.
2. There is overwhelming scientific evidence for evolution.
3. I never said the supernatural isn't real. I implied that abrahamic religions & many others are mostly man-made tales to explain mysteries.
@D_Preacher_1 What's interesting is the mischaracterization of the devil. He's literally an agent of God not a rival, and isn't even the same character as Lucifer. The church mixed up and confused a lot.
