@randyswish@Grxit Despite their love of the game, they brought a hostile and finger pointing tone to the stream. I just wanted to watch a speed run and follow the progress of donations to charity.
The fact that the game industry is looking at $1,000+ consoles and $100 games is just going to kill it.
Good thing we have decades of great games to fall back on.
I completely agree with this, actually. I did come around a bit on Episode VIII, but regardless, Episode VII was a solid return to form for the franchise.
Even if you hate what followed, The Force Awakens delivered a pretty great rebirth for the Star Wars franchise, and 10 years later, it's still a fun adventure. https://t.co/dXYcA9mvFk
@BradEBonham Question: Do you know successful people that like to watch sports? Likes to go fishing? Go to pubs with friends? Enjoys gardening? Pours themselves into a hobby?
Your comment can literally apply to -any- of these things.
“Durr, be a better husband, father, provider.” 😒
@dark1x@GmanLives I mean, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault used to make gamers feel as though they were actually storming the beach of Normandy. Play it now, and there’s nothing going on, compared to what games do today. It falls very flat.
Products of their time. Products of their time.
@PirateSoftware It shouldn’t be allowed. Don’t care if the actors lent their voice and were okay with it. Would have been more time and a larger payday if they recorded all their lines instead.
Do not stand on a podium and try to wave this off as people trying to be all faux moral high ground.
@Qwik This is a silly take.
I can play 100 hours in Elden Ring without beating it… same with a game like Skyrim. That’s not enough for me to solidify my feelings on a game?
I'm not sure why Hollywood is so insistent on always remaking movies... but doing them worse. Just... stop already. We didn't need Total Recall. We didn't need The Running Man. We certainly don't need Cliffhanger.
