Two things from the last 7 days

1. The number of friends and colleagues who have reached out / checked in to ask if I’m ok has been amazing and very moving - thank you ❤️

2. The number of times I’ve ended my message to family with “stay safe” 😢

Some good is coming out of these terrible days. People are starting to sit up and take notice, for instance, of who owns our media. I'd make two suggestions - 1. no one should be allowed to run a media company who's not domiciled here for tax purposes; 2. we seriously apply the 'fit and proper' person test to anyone wanting to buy any media outfit, including the Telegraph.

Telegram has confirmed to me that it's removing calls for violence in the UK.
