Starting the day off right. Listening to encouraging words from our State Superintendent Mo Green at our Annual NCTLL conference.

Unsurprisingly, many principals have been hired because they like and are good at working with students. However, if they donโt also know how or donโt enjoy managing and leading adults, problems will quickly surfaceโresulting in high rates of staff turnover. Screen carefully.
I spoke with a superintendent today who has been betrayed by a self serving โnumber twoโ who is interested in his job. Iโve been there and nothing compares to a Judas who you considered a friend. Forgive? Maybe. Forget? Never!
Thank You Palmetto Theater of Walnut Cove for hosting WCE 3-5 students today. They showed How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
It is always a wonderful experience you provide our students

Since 2020, the state has increased annual per-pupil funding for private school taxpayer-funded vouchers by 80.7% ($3,390), while public school students have seen a per-pupil funding increase of just 6.5% ($463) in that time. #nced#ppe#ncpublicschools
