Blame on the Where the Crawdads Are book... the main travels about the state in a matter of no time. It sounds like the coast is just a few minutes away from Nashville.
Didn’t realize how many folks have no idea where Asheville and these other underwater towns are.
I’m in Raleigh- 2hrs inland. Asheville is 4hrs west of me, up in the blue ridge mountains. It was unthinkable that a hurricane could wipe out towns this far inland & high up.

North Carolina was named the worst state for workers, most notably because of a lack of livable wages amidst a high cost of living.

It makes no sense at all that legislators are giving millions (and soon billions) to private schools that have no accountability at all for how $$ are spent. Call your legislators and ask for a full accounting. Are students even learning? #nced#ncpublicschools#novouchers#ncpol
The House and Senate are poised to increase voucher funding AGAIN when they return to Raleigh on Mon. Can you think of better ways that $248 MILLION should be spent than on private tuition for wealthy families? Let us know. CONTACT your legislators! #nced#ncpol#ncpublicschools
Just read a Public Schools First NC article that says private schools have raised tuition since the latest round of school vouchers passed. 😒 No one saw that coming, right?
This week, students in 11 school districts across North Carolina returned to the classroom. Together, these counties stand to lose over $6 million because of the Republican voucher scheme.
Private school voucher programs are hurting students and taxpayers across the country. Republican lawmakers in NC need to read the writing on the wall and put a moratorium on private school vouchers until our public schools are fully funded.

Congratulations to Ashe County Schools Superintendent, Dr. @Eisa_Cox! The North Carolina School Superintendents' Association (NCSSA) has announced her as the recipient of the Dr. Brad Sneeden Leadership Award. See more at https://t.co/I3XFiFJfc1.
We love having @AC_Schools on our @appstate Hickory campus this week for their administrative retreat! It’s such a treat to have them—and guests like the amazing @TabariWallace—in the building! Welcome, Dr. @bigriffin1, Dr. Cloer & ACS team! Wishing you a wonderful year ahead!
There are 13,000 families that have incomes greater than $260k on the North Carolina voucher waitlist. That is like going grocery shopping at Whole Foods and stopping at the food bank on the way home. #nced#ncpol
So inspired by NC educators and the work they are putting in to shifts systems for kids! Humbled to be a part of the vision and implementation among the best! #NCReadLeadSucceed
Most students on the Opportunity Scholarship waitlist have household incomes higher than two-thirds of North Carolinians. #nced#ncpol
That’s everyone in Tier 3 & 4 and the top of Tier 2. The median household income in NC is $67k, via US Census data.

@acnewsitics It's interesting to me that the media (former media person here) won't move on from a bad debate when there has already been so much BIG news in the cycles since. Does make me wonder if there's an agenda...
Is it just me, or is the impression from tonight's interview that Biden's just a guy trying to do his job and the media's trying to bully him into dropping out because they want to make this race more chaotic so they can drive up their engagement? It seems like our big media outlets are addicted to reality TV drama and can't stand competence.
“I don’t walk as easily as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. I know how to do this job.”
Exactly the right message.
