Tomorrow @Hullccnews Council meets to decide the fate of their loved and celebrated BHS/Co-op mural. They appear to be preparing to demolish it without relevant asbestos tests on the basis that there is asbestos elsewhere in a building they are demolishing anyway. Please rethink!

We’ve stepped in the protect Barbara Hepworth’s last public sculpture. The owners of ‘Themes and Variations’ on the former Cheltenham and Gloucester building have applied to remove it.

Council have issued a Building Preservation Notice - to our relief -
but it needs listing.

We are very sorry to learn of the death of Charles Jencks at 80. Charles was one of the great interpreters and theorists of architecture who continued the pioneering work of his late wife Maggie in the expanding network of Maggies cancer care centres.
