When we launched @onnewjersey, people questioned whether New Jersey could sustain a 24/7 streaming television network dedicated entirely to local stories.

Three years later, our work earned a Gold @tellyawards for “Your New Jersey: A Year of Community Impact.”

Out of 13,000 entries worldwide, to receive Gold in this category is truly incredible and such a testament to the stories, communities, and people we’ve had the honor of spotlighting every single day.

Social Security didn’t cause the nation’s debt; we pay for Social Security through every one of our paychecks.

Uninformed reporting by @nytimes and @EvanGorelick today who singles out older adults and their reliance on Social Security as contributing to the National Debt. That is factually incorrect.

We’ve Earned It! If you have worked you have paid into Social Security through a tax that fully funds retiree benefits.

When you get older, which all of us will, this earned benefit. Without it over 40% of older adults would be in poverty
