🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Seven former Southern Water employees are set to face trial over an alleged £45 million fraud.

They are accused of systematically falsifying sewage records between 2019 and 2021 - allegedly doctoring data, switching off monitors and underreporting spills to avoid penalties and secure financial rewards.

Credit must go to Peter Hammond of @WindrushWasp , whose investigation helped uncover the alleged manipulation of sewage data and bring it to the Environment Agency’s attention.
